Inclusivity is fundamental to higher education, its course design, assessment and delivery. The principles of inclusivity offer all students the opportunities achieve best their ability. purpose this case-study outline context, process, development initial evaluation a newly generated tool designed for academic colleagues. Inclusive Course Design Tool (ICDT) offers series questions reflection with supporting guidance rooted in theory research on inclusion, pedagogy, multiculturalism, universal design learning implicit unconscious bias. This first version encourages teams reflect interrogate nature inclusive practice courses, curricula, classrooms (virtual or physical) approaches student support. contextualised rationale tool, consultation early future considerations as an institutional are explored. paper specifically explores use try reduce black, asian minority ethnic (BAME) award gap enhance success graduate outcomes, well staff reflection.
